26.2 miles. One big challenge. And a charity that means a lot to our team.
In April 2027, our Senior Business Development Manager, Connor, and Senior Account Manager, Tom, will be taking on the London Marathon in support of our charity partner, Shaftesbury.
Their decision to take on the challenge was inspired by a visit to Bradbury Court, one of Shaftesbury’s residential centres, where they saw first-hand the difference the charity makes to the lives of the people it supports.
“Seeing the level of care, support and dedication that goes into helping people live as independently and fully as possible left a lasting impression on us. It reinforced just how important their work is and the real difference it makes every single day.”
The visit gave Connor and Tom a greater connection to the work they’ll be supporting and has given them plenty of motivation as training gets underway.
There’s a long way to go before race day, with plenty of miles to cover and training sessions to get through. But with a £4,400 fundraising target and the support of the Angel team behind them, the countdown to London 2027 has officially begun.
We’ll be following their progress over the coming months and cheering them on every step of the way.
